Public Parks in Hunter’s Creek

Residents of Hunter’s Creek and their guests have access to seven beautiful parks in the area, and each one offers a wealth of recreational activities for children, teens, seniors and adults alike. Eagle’s Park in Hunter’s Creek has a community center that hosts numerous social events, meetings and gatherings throughout the year. This park, along with Osprey Park, is among the two larger parks in the neighborhood that host holiday events and fundraisers, including Relay for Life events and Fourth of July Celebrations.

  • Braddock Oak Park
  • Calabay Park
  • Eagle Park
  • Mallard Pointe Park
  • Osprey Park
  • Vista Park I
  • Vista Park II

Each park has several picnic tables and designated play areas for young children. Other park amenities include a fishing dock, multi-purpose fields, tennis courts, a walking path, volleyball courts, restrooms, a dog park, shaded tot lots and basketball courts. Some parks also have a solar shade structure covering an outdoor play area. Hunter’s Creek residents are able to rent a meeting room or play space for special events any time of year, and can make their reservation request with the Hunter’s Creek recreational department. Many of the events and festivals at the parks are organized by the Hunter’s Creek Women’s Association and the Hunter’s Creek Recreation and Special Events Department.

 

Enjoy living at Hunters Creek, Osprey ParkPopular recreational activities and programs in and around the parks at Hunter’s Creek include hiking, biking, bingo nights, kids camp and kids night out, yoga, tennis, soccer, senior social hour and after school programs. During the month of October, the Hunter’s Creek community hosts their own haunted house and “Hunter’s Creep Nights” on the weekends. All residents also have access to the Hunter’s Creek Golf Club, an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course nestled between many of the major parks around Hunter’s Creek.
