The 2011 Fourth of July Celebration will be held on Monday, July 4th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Highlights of this event include:

  • 1.  Old-fashioned carnival rides
  • 2.  Inflatable bounce houses for younger children
  • 3.  Slides and obstacle courses
  • 4.  Main stage entertainment
  • 5.  Face painting
  • 6.  Delicious food
  • 7.  Raffles and competitions
  • 8.  Local vendor booths

In previous years, attendance levels have reached 3,000 to 5,000 people on just the single day, so if you plan on attending this event, be sure to get there early to find a parking spot. You can purchase game tickets at the event, and families can register for activities and games upon arrival. Family-friendly activities have included a three-legged race, potato sack races and a water balloon toss.

The raffle is among the biggest draws of the Hunter’s Creek Fourth of July Celebration because it gives attendees a chance to win luxury items and trips. All raffle prizes have a value of $50 or more, and past prizes have included a 7-day cruise package, 4-night stays at luxury resorts, free rounds of golf, spa packages, cooking classes, dining certificates, local attraction tickets and televisions.  Raffle winners are announced on the main stage in the middle of the event.

Local businesses are encouraged to donate items for the raffle and participate in the event by setting up a booth. Both for-profit and non-profit vendors are invited to participate in this annual celebration.

You can find parking around Town Center Boulevard early in the day, but can expect to park further away from the park and walk a few blocks if you arrive by mid-day. This is a safe, family-friendly event that gives attendees to celebrate an annual tradition with neighbors and friends. The Citizens on Patrol (COP), a volunteer unit of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, will be providing support for this event.

Osprey Park is located at 5100 Town Center Boulevard in Hunter’s Creek.
