“I love, love, love this place! Yeah, it’s 3.99 for a taco, but the taco is busting out with the freshest ingredients. I’ve never had a bad experience here. This is the only place to get fish tacos!” raves Scrumptious Soul. “Great fish tacos, staff is nice…that sums the place up for me. I go here weekly, always getting the fish tacos. Never had the burgers, not sure why they’re even there when the fish tacos are so ridiculously good. Get them blackened,” says Matt P. “Simply good… Had the big island taco, and the wife the steak taco – delicious. Also sampled the Venice Beach BLT, the ahi tuna a little sparse, bit good flavor…. Already told others and can’t wait to go back,” pronounces PCB. “Got 3 tacos. They are nothing like anywhere else. Amazing. I noticed they had some interesting sounding sauces on the menu. When I inquired about them they had no problem bringing me a sample of each, and they were all amazing! Will definitely be back!” raves John.
The story behind the chain centers around a figure from either California or Hawaii, who lived between the 1920’s and 1950’s. He’s said to have traveled the world, enjoying many types of exotic fare and from those experiences, fashioned his own unique menu.
